Ursprünglich ein Bonus im japanischen "Metal Gear Solid Integral"-Package, wurden die mehr als 300 VR-Levels außerhalb Japans als seperates Add-on veröffentlicht. Der PC-Portierung liegen sie hingegen automatisch bei und werden zusammen mit dem Spiel installiert.
