Die Paperboy PSX Unreleased Prototype Version wurde 2021 von der Beta Community gefunden und veröffentlicht. Vieles ist unfertig, aber teilweise spielbar. Ein original Front Cover ist bei gamefaqs vorhanden mit einer ID Nummer und IGN PSX hat ein Release Datum gehabt.
Unused Text vom File GENERAL.DAT ist identisch mit der N64 Version. Getestet wurde nativ auf einer PS2 PAL Big mit FMCB über POPS VCD HDD, das Ergebnis ist gut. Das Build selbst hat generell viele Fehler weil unfertig, die produzierten Probleme besonders bei Texturen sind aus diesem Grund nicht von POPS. Musik ist vorhanden, aber die Sound Files sind nicht implemented. Im Code ist eine falsche Darstellung beim Zoom und es kommt zur Abweichung im Screen. Die Taste R2 hat oft einen Crash.
