- Am 24.05.2012 wurden sämtliche Mitarbeiter entlassen, nachdem 38 Studios in finanzielle Engpässe gekommen war, was die faktische Auflösung des Entwicklers bedeutet.
- Ende Oktober 2014 von Brian Reynolds wiedereröffnet - er hatte sich zuvor die Rechte bei der Auktion von Rhode Island zurückerworben.
