Zusätzlich zu der Ausstattung der Standard-Edition liegt dieser Ausführung eine Modul-Hülle und ein individuell durchnummeriertes Echtheitszertifikat bei. Die Version war auf 100 Exemplare limitiert und bereits am Releasetag ausverkauft.
Am 14.03.15 informierte Water Melon alle Käufer von Sacred Line per Mail über eine fehlerhafte Produktauflage:
"We wanted to inform you that the games shipped from February 2015 has a programming bug. This bug affects a some people, please read below:
If your Mega Drive or Genesis shows the "Licensed by Sega" text at power-on, you wont be affected. The issue will only trigger on Mega Drive 1 or Genesis Model 1, non-TMSS (without the "Licensed by Sega" text).
If affected: The game will not start on those systems.
A workaround: None are known at the moment.
A definitive fix: We cannot fix the issue at the moment, we will get back to you when any updates."
Auf der Homepage des Entwicklers steht, dass der o.g. Bug mit einem Game Genie "behoben" werden kann.
