"Connectivity": Ein wahlweise mit einem der Titel "Sonic Pinball Party", "Sonic Advance" oder "Sonic Advance 2" bestückter und an den GameCube angeschlossener GameBoy Advance ermöglicht es, das "Chao" (eine Art Haustier) in vollem Umfang pflegen bzw. mit ihm spielen zu können ("Although you can still play the Tiny Chao Garden without the "Sonic Advance" Game Pak, using the Game Pak will allow you to save your game progress in the Tiny Chao Garden as well as give you access to special items" - aus dem Handbuch "Sonic Adv. 2: Battle"). Dabei kann das "Chao" in beliebiger Richtung transferiert werden, sodass es sich wahlweise auf dem GameCube oder dem GameBoy Advance befindet.
