Gegründet am 01.04.1998 von ehemaligen Blue Byte-Mitarbeitern Thomas Friedmann, Thorsten Knop und Thomas Häuser
Sitz: Oberhausen, seit 2017 in Schermbeck
2016 wechselte das gesamte Team von Funatics zu InnoGames nach Düsseldorf bzw. Hamburg.
Seit Anfang 2018 ist Funatics in einer Neustart-Phase und arbeitet mit zunächst kleiner Mannschaft.
Im November 2022 von Jumpgate akquiriert
