Ende Oktober 2006 erstmals angekündigt. Der Titel erschien erneut als umfangreiche Multiplattform-Entwicklung für Konsolen und den PC. Den Anfang machte die Xbox 360-Fassung.
Die Xbox 360-Version bieten im Gegensatz zum Vorgänger keinen vollwertigen Coop-Modus mehr. Man kann jedoch mit bis zu sechzehn Teilnehmern eine kooperative Kampagne mit dynamischen Missionszielen absolvieren. Sie besteht aus sechs Missionen. Die eigentliche Einzelspieler-Kampagne kann nicht gemeinsam gespielt werden.
Die Konsolenversionen sind deutlich actionorientierter und schneller als die PC-Version, welche mehr einem Taktik-Shooter entspricht:
- Wird aus der Third Person Ansicht = Schulteransicht gespielt
* First-Person mittels Optionsmenü zwar möglich - Zielen über Kimme und Korn findet jedoch nicht statt (die Waffe ist nicht sichtbar)
- Speichern nur via Speicherpunkte / Checkpoints
- Simples, actionorientiertes Ghost-Befehlssystem (vier Befehle)
- Einfache Gitternetzkarte
- Coop-Modus für bis zu 16 Teilnehmer (sechs gesonderte Kampagnen-Karten)
- Duck & Cover-System für schnelleres Gameplay
