Laut einer offiziellen Verlautbarung von Ocean wurde die Entwicklung des Spieles, das eigentlich Oceans letzter C64-Titel werden sollte, eingestellt, weil angeblich der Code mitsamt der Entwicklungs-Hardware bei einem Einbruch bei dem Entwickler gestohlen wurde.
Laut dem Programmierer Colin Porch war aber seine Ex-Frau Schuld am Verlust des Codes, da jene, in einem, mit der Scheidung einhergehendem Disput, nicht nur sein persönliches Eigentum, sondern auch die Disketten seiner Arbeit zerstörte.
Da Ocean an einem weiteren Aufschub der Entwicklung kein Interesse zeigte, wurde das Projekt komplett fallengelassen. |
