Da die Nutzungsrechte für die "The Fast and the Furious"-Lizenz vor Veröffentlichung der Wii-Portierung abgelaufen waren und Publisher Midway eine Erneuerung verweigert wurde, da die Nutzungsrechte zu diesem Zeitpunkt bereits bei Namco Bandai lagen, wurden sämtliche Referenzen zur Filmreihe aus dem Spiel entfernt und der Titel stattdessen als Teil des "Cruis'n"-Franchise unter Lizenz von Nintendo (dem Inhaber der "Cruis'n"-IP) veröffentlicht. |
