„Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons“ ist eine Neuinterpreation des Beat'em-Up Klassikers. Im Gegensatz zu „Double Dragon Neon“ handelt es sich jedoch nicht um ein neues Spiel. Der Titel ist im Wesentlichen ein Remake, das auf dem 1988-er „Double Dragon II: The Revenge“-Automaten basiert.
Ursprünglich sollte das Spiel schon im September 2011 veröffentlicht werden, verschwand dann jedoch aus dem Fokus der Öffentlichkeit. Anfang März 2013 wurden dann die Achievements bekannt gegeben, die einen Release in Aussicht stellten.
