Rund um die Veröffentlichung dieses DLC gab es eine heiße Kontroverse: Die Dateien waren nämlich bereits Teil des Hauptspiels. Vom Spieler wird lediglich ein Aktivierungsschlüssel erworben, der freischaltet, was bereits zum Release von "BioShock 2" vorhanden war. Elizabeth Tobey von 2K Games stellte sich in deren Forum der Kritik und erklärte, dass es aus technischer Sicht nötig war, die DLC-Dateien ins Hauptspiel zu integrieren, da Engine und Spielstruktur erfordern würden, dass alle Spieler über die selben Dateien verfügen. Wieso dieses Prinzip nicht auch auf das spätere "Rapture Metro Pack" zuzutreffen scheint ist jedoch unbekannt. Das "Sinclair Solutions Tester Pack" ... [->mehr]
