"Armageddon's Blade" ist die erste offizielles Erweiterung zu "Heroes of Might and Magic III":
- Sechs neue Kampagnen mit 35 Einzelmissionen
- Ein neues spielbares Volk, die Elementar-Konflux
- Neue Heldenfiguren (inkl. zwei Konflux-Heldenklassen)
- Ein Dutzend neue Kreaturen
- Ein Zufallsgenerator für Kampf-Szenarien
- Verbesserter Map-Editor
- Erweiterter Mehrspielermodus mit zehn neuen Karten für bis zu acht Spieler
"Armageddon's Blade" ist der letzte Titel der "Heroes of Might and Magic"-Reihe, der in Deutschland noch über UbiSoft vertrieben wurde, bevor die Vertriebsrechte an Infogrames Entertainment wechselten. Daher wurde die Erweiterung nie übersetzt, sondern einfach die englische Originalversion mit deutschem Begleitmaterial veröffentlicht.
