Die nachträglich veröffentlichte deutsche Version von "The Shadow of Death" ist bereits auf v3.1 aktualisiert. Der Final Patch auf v3.2 wurde nie lokalisiert.
Optional kann auch der internationale Patch v3.2 zum Update genutzt werden, dadurch sind dann jedoch Teile des Spiels wieder in Englisch! |

"The Shadow of Death" ist die zweite, eigenständig lauffähige Erweiterung für "Heroes of Might and Magic III". In allen "The Shadow of Death"-Veröffentlichungen ist grundsätzlich auch das 1999-er Hauptprogramm "The Restauration of Erathia" enthalten.
"The Shadow of Death" ist voll kompatibel zu "Armageddon's Blade", dessen Inhalte alle enthalten sind: Wird die erste Erweiterung nachinstalliert, schaltet sie alle Funktionen frei.
