Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
Die DS-Portierung ist ein Remake zum zehnjährigen Jubiläum und basiert auf dem 1996er Original (nicht auf dem Director's Cut). Während auf dem oberen Bildschirm die Karte angezeigt wird, spielt sich auf dem Touch-Screen das Geschehen ab.
- Leicht verbesserte Grafik (detailliertere Charaktermodelle)
- Die Videosequenzen sind enthalten (Intro gekürzt/schwarz-weiß), allerdings mussten aufgrund des geringeren Speichervolumens Abstriche bei der Qualität gemacht werden.
- Im freispielbaren Bonus-Mode "Master of Knifing" werden in der Ego-Perspektive die Gegner mit einem Messer getötet, das mit dem Touch-Pen geschwungen wird.
- Angepasste Steuerung (hier mit 180°-Drehung und Quick-Knife/-Reload-Funktion)
-Dialoge und Tür-Ladezeiten können übersprungen werden
Die DS-Portierung unterteilt sich in zwei Haupt-Spielmodi: Den typischen Classic Mode und den actionorientierten Rebirth Mode:
- Classic Mode :
Die aus dem Original bekannte Spielerfahrung. Dabei wurde Gameplay, Spielmechanik und Steuerung nahezu 1:1 übernommen.
- Rebirth Mode:
Der Rebirth Mode ist auf direkte Konfrontation mit den Monstern ausgelegt. Neben der erhöhten Anzahl von Feinden wurde gleichzeitig überall vermehrt Munition verteilt. Die Rätsel wurden teilweise ein wenig angepasst und müssen hier nun via Stylus per Touch-Screen gelöst werden.
Einige Rätsel erfordern den Gebrauch vom Mikrofon, diese sind allerdings nicht für den Spielfortschritt erforderlich. So kann das Spiel auch mit kaputtem Mikrofon durchgespielt werden.
Bis zu vier Teilnehmer können im kooperativen Wi-Fi Mehrspieler in drei speziell vorgefertigten Szenario-Kämpfen (Mansion, Guardhouse und Laboratory) gemeinsam versuchen, die gestellten Aufgaben heil zu überstehen. Einen vollwertigen Coop Modus gibt es nicht.
Zusätzlich gibt es auch einen Vs. Mode, in dem sich die Spieler untereinander bekriegen. Für alle Modi ist jeweils ein Modul pro Spieler notwendig. |
