"Tales of Innocence" bietet wieder den von der Serien bekannten lokalen kooperativen Mehrspielermodus für bis zu vier Teilnehmer (Multi-Card). Während Spieler 1 den Hauptcharakter über den gesamten Spielverlaufs steuert, also auf der Weltkarte, in Städten/Geschäften und Dungeons usw., können die restlichen Gruppenmitglieder in den Echtzeitkämpfen von menschlichen Mitspielern gesteuert werden.
